This is not bad but I’d really love to have the line detail of this wonderful engraving. I’ve seen it in details but not as a whole .
I’ve been reading “MIRAGE Napoleon’s Scientists and the Unveiling of Egypt” by Nian Burleigh which is brilliant and have been looking for a large intact version of this engraving. Since the book “Description de l‘Egypte” has long been in the public domain, you’d think this would be less of a chore.
Another great engraving 50 years ahead of the French.
