More resinous statues from northern Minn. Best I could do with the backlighting and my point-and-shoot, but does convey the slightly frightening enormity of Paul Bunyan’s sweetheart. There’s a chainsaw carving of Paul (or is it their offspring, Paul Jr.?) a few yards away, much smaller — Freudians, have a field day.
And of course, literally a stone’s throw away:
No fowl (no harm), but booze and trucks. Makes a nice triangle with the gigantic sweetheart and diminutive lumberjack.
