I first thought it was at Monroe Park but it doesn’t look right. Where were they?

Well the fountain sure looks like Monroe Park, but the houses in the bkgnd don’t. Somewhere on Monument Avenue?

He was in the Air Force — could be anywhere from Texas to Louisiana to Nashville to Richmond, etc. Not England, though.
