The spider monkey appears unimpressed with the photographer’s set up of the shot. He wants to direct the shoot, but he’s trapped in this woman’s lap, for now.
The most glamorous and beautiful couple in the Southern Adventist community, Dad, the Hollywood leading man, the golden boy, the charming young doctor, always with the suit and cufflinks, Mom, starlet gorgeous with that million dollar smile, their adorable, plump bundle of joy and also Corndoggie. He does look ready to leap up and “fix the shot”. Note the critical, discerning, incisive, imperious expression. My Mom told me that. as a baby, when anyone saw my plump smiling face and arms reaching up to them, they always asked to pick me up to hold and kiss me. Then they asked if she wanted a banana for her monkey.
